We will hear about our church, what it is, what is was and what it might be. And we will be invited to contemplate how the church can be the spiritual home in our lives. 

Carsten Ehret-Pyka (Leichlingen) will play an exciting programme of contemporary music for organ and organ with tape, including:  Jonathn Harvey’s 'Toccata for Organ and Tape', ‚Gather‘ by Errollyn Wallen, and Fast Cycles by Nico Muhly. Kantorin Pam Hulme will accompany the hymns with a combination of synthesizer and voice / loop-station. 

Wir werden über unsere Kirche hören – was sie ist, was sie war und was sie sein könnte. Und wir werden dazu eingeladen, darüber nachzudenken, wie die Kirche in unserem Leben als spirituelle Heimat dienen kann.

On the last Sunday of each month at 18.00 is our evening prayer service in English: Evening Song. This service follows a liturgy composed by the Iona Community with experimental, contemporary music and is a fantastic way to either wind down at the end of the weekend or to wind up for the coming  week.

Evening Song ist unsere regelmäßige Andacht auf Englisch mit der Liturgie nach der Iona Community am letzten Sonntag im Monat, jeweils um 18 Uhr.  Der musikalische Schwerpunkt dieser Andachten ist experimentelle, zeitgenössische Musik. Geleitet wird er, wenn möglich, von Pfarrerin Dr. Stefanie Sippel und Kirchenmusikerin Pam Hulme.
Zum Ausklang bieten wir einen kleinen Imbiss an.
